Hi! I’m Erica 👋

I’m a Latina UX designer and researcher from South Central LA, shaped by a community that taught me resilience, empathy, and the value of accessible information. I grew up watching family and neighbors navigate confusing systems—healthcare, services, paperwork—and I learned early on how good design can make those experiences easier, safer, and more dignified.

Today, I design digital experiences that center underserved users. I conduct bilingual research, advocate for accessibility, and bring a culturally grounded lens to every project. My goal is simple: create products that help people feel seen, supported, and empowered.

If you’ve made it this far, thank you for being here. I love collaborating on work that makes a difference.

A collage of various scenes including outdoor landscapes, cityscapes, food, people, animals, and attractions in California such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Alamo Square, and a nature cave pool.

outside of work.

I recently purchased my first home so I am fully in the weeds (literally and figuratively) of home DIY! This has allowed me to pull my creative design eye to a physical output of my home.

Besides that, I love community so i’m probably hitting up this months CicLAvia, hanging out with family, or getting a Spanish Latte at my fav coffee shop.

Thanks for being here :-).
